Child Welfare Centre

The Child Welfare Centre follows your child's development from birth to school start and provides you with support and guidance during your parenting. Regular health examinations and developmental assessments based on your child's needs provide both you and your child with security.

Regular health examinations and developmental assessments based on your child's needs provide both you and your child with security. We offer vaccinations according to the children's healthcare program and work closely with other specialist care.

Our goal is to give each family support and advice tailored to their needs during parenting. You are welcome to contact your child welfare centre with questions regarding your child. This can include breastfeeding, food, sleep, development, or parenting. Through the Alltid öppet app, we also offer video meetings for advice about your healthy child. All visits to the child welfare centre are free of charge.

There are child welfare centres run by Region Stockholm in all municipalities in Stockholm. You choose which clinic you want to register your child at. You are welcome to contact us by telephone or 1177 Vårdguiden's e-services. The child welfare centre is also known as BVC.

If you need an interpreter during your visit, we will arrange it. Let us know when you book your visit. An interpreter is free of charge for you as a patient.
